Cracking Time in Store for Easter Eggstravaganza
We are ‘eggcited’ to announce the return of ‘Easter Eggstravaganza’ with a variety of fun-fuelled family activities and a new character.
Running from 12 to 27 April 2025, guests will be invited to take part in the celebrations, which include an interactive trail, competitions, a new show and a chance to get creative with some Easter arts and crafts.
This year, a brand-new character has ‘hatched’ called Chirpy Chick, who will be roaming the Safari Walk areas of the Park, meeting guests and taking pictures with them.
Also new for 2025 is ‘Bramble Bunny’s Hoppy Easter Show’, a live, interactive performance bursting with fun, games, magic and dancing.
PR & Events Executive, Bethan Davis, said, “We’re delighted to be hosting our Easter Eggstravaganza event once again this year! Last year’s event was a huge success and with even more ‘eggciting’ activities this year, it’s the perfect opportunity for families to enjoy a great day out, full of seasonal fun, while discovering everything else that the Park has to offer.
“We have a brand-new character who will be out and about, as well as our resident Easter bunny, Bramble, who has a cracking new show which will be on at intervals throughout the day. We are also giving away more prizes than ever before, with four different competitions on offer. We hope everyone has a great day with us.”
Children will be able to win chocolate or a sweet treat by taking part in the Eggsplorers’ Trail, by following clues and answering questions at each point.
There is a photo competition, where guests can win a VIP Rhino Feed Experience if they find the missing egg and take a picture with it to post on our Facebook page.
In the Discovery Trail, guests will find a huge egg, filled with smaller colourful eggs. If they can guess how many eggs it contains, they can enter the competition to win a Safari Lodges stay of their choice.
New for this year is Chirpy Chick’s Cracking Quest, which involves guests following the clues posted on our Instagram story to find the golden egg which contains some incredible prizes, such as retail vouchers, VIP Experiences, Annual Passes and Safari Lodges stays.
The Easter Craft Club will be returning, this year based in Bramble’s Burrow, where guests can take part in themed arts and crafts.
During the event, the Park will be decorated with bright and colourful Easter theming, including giant eggs, hay bales, floral displays and photo points.
Additionally, our conservation team will be championing penguins and raising money for the Global Penguin Society, an international organisation committed to the conservation of these marine birds and their associated ecosystems.
Penguins are one of the most vulnerable seabirds with climate change, reduced food availability due to overfishing and habitat destruction threatening their existence in the wild.
The Eggsplorers trail will feature facts about penguins and children will have the opportunity to learn more about these fantastic birds, make their penguin pledge and help raise money towards the society’s efforts to protect all penguins in the wild.
There is also the chance to see our newest arrivals, the three Sumatran tiger cubs, at the new viewing ‘peepholes’ of their outdoor den.
All the Easter activities are included in the admission price.
