CHARACTER WEEK
15th - 23rd February 2025
To celebrate the start of our main season, for the nine days of February half term, we are excited that some of our favourite, famous friends will be coming to visit us and meet our guests.
For the whole of the half term, kids’ characters will be making appearances at the Park in the Safari Academy, at intervals on selected dates. Bluey, Peppa Pig, Octonauts' Captain Barnacles and PAW Patrol's Chase, will be making personal appearances at ticketed Meet & Greet sessions (at no additional cost to your admission ticket), so check out the schedule below and book your timeslot with your favourite characters!
SCHEDULE:
- Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th & Monday 17th Feb – Bluey Meet & Greet
- Tuesday 18th & Wednesday 19th Feb – Peppa Pig Meet & Greet
- Thursday 20th & Friday 21st Feb – Captain Barnacles - Octonauts' Meet & Greet
- Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd Feb – Chase - PAW Patrol Meet & Greet
During the Meet & Greet, you’ll be able to meet and interact with the guest character and there will be opportunities to take photos.
Elephant Conservation & Craft Club
As well as the opportunity to meet a special character this half term, the Park’s conservation team is championing one of our conservation partners - the Mali Elephant project, and asking guests to get involved.
Guests can learn more about this amazing project and how we help African elephants in the wild, as well as fun facts about the four elephants that call the Park home. Families can also take part in some elephant-themed arts and crafts in Crafty Cubs Corner.
Important Information:
• Reserving a Meet & Greet time slot is the only way to see any character.
• Please ensure that you have selected the ‘1’ on the Meet & Greet in the booking system, before choosing your time slot.
• Ensure you have received a Meet & Greet e-ticket within your ticket PDFs after purchasing, as this will need to be scanned to enter the Meet & Greet.
• Pre-booked tickets give your group (maximum of six people) one opportunity to meet our guest character during the time slot stated on the ticket, with a chance to take a picture with them.
• Please ensure you arrive at the Safari Academy no earlier than 5 minutes before your allocated time slot to guarantee entry. We are unable to allow guests into the Meet & Greet area if they arrive at a different time than stated on their ticket.
• On the day of your visit, if visiting the Safari Drive-through before your Meet & Greet, please ensure you allow a minimum of 3 hours to complete the Safari Drive-through, park your vehicle, and walk to the Safari Academy where Meet & Greets will be taking place. We strongly advise guests to experience the Safari Drive-through after their character Meet & Greet for time slots between 11am – 1pm to ensure Meet & Greet time slots are not missed.
• Unfortunately, missed ‘Meet & Greet’ character time slots cannot be rescheduled due to availability.
• Due to the number of guests allocated per time slot, you may have to queue for up to 30 minutes before meeting the character.
• Please note that photos will be restricted to one photo opportunity per group.
• If anyone in your group has additional needs, please make yourself known to the staff member checking tickets. We will try our best to accommodate any requests, but please note that this may still involve an element of queuing.
